Melt in your mouth brisket and burnt ends , tender and meaty (not stringy) pulled pork , hella good BBQ sauces , and crispy chewy sweet potato fries ...what more could a Midwest girl want?

Food was awesome. We had Burnt Ends and pulled pork sandwich and The Flight which is a sampling all of their Sauces. That was worth the $2.50 extra to taste them and find out which in you like best

Homey , down-to-earth spot with a charming bar & interior. Incredible meat (got the burnt ends and pulled pork ) that, albeit dry, is packed with flavor. Sauces are great. Applesauce & pit beans are A+

Excellent stuff! Everything is delicious... Order some smoked almonds while you decide on the mains etc. They could really do with some equally delightful deserts . One or two.

Great food, atmosphere, customer service, and all for a surprisingly reasonable price. It's our new favorite restaurant !

Wow! Now this is some REAL bbq . Love the heat and traditional southern bbq flavor. Love me some black dog. Call ahead to order to go. Want to eat there? Eat at bar . Or wait a little for seat.

If you get there early enough, I recommend the Burnt Ends ! The twice baked potato casserole , and black dog cornbread is great as well .

Yeah, you are obligated to try the burnt ends if they are available. You might not get another chance for a bit... Great beer selection too! Get there early like everyone else said...

Great food and drinks here. Sweet potato fries , jalapeno cornbread , and loaded mashed potatoes are stellar. Burnt ends are amazing. They have a sampler plate , if you're not sure what you want.

It's all good! Wish they had desserts , the bread pudding I imagine here would be incredible!

Everything is fantastic. I really appreciate that one can swap out the squishy bun for sourdough bread from a local bakery on any sandwich .

At 11am and 5pm ask for the burnt ends of brisket you'll be glad you did!! Ask for BBQ sauce on the side. It's very spicy and tart . Over powers the brisket .

oh my goodness, you've got to have a burnt ends sandwich and some savory baked beans . and if you like spicy and margarita - the jalapeno margarita is a must!

All those tips regarding the Hot Georgia Peach BBQ Sauce were dead-on, it's outstanding! The Sweet Potato Fries excellent too!

Go at off peak hours or in small groups. Going with 4+ at 6:30 will leave you waiting for quite a while.

For the burnt ends get there at 11 am or 5 pm.. They go fast - within 30 minutes sometimes!

The burnt ends are toooooo good to pass up, so get them if they haven't already run out!!

Pulled pork was excellent. Everything else was mediocre. I would say 1 out 10 this is a 5. It had such a high rating I was hopeful. Not terrible but not the greatest BBQ I have had.
