The place is a little crummy, but if you look past that, your adventurous spirit will be rewarded with the crusty bread and melted cheese that only a fresh sub out of the oven can yield!

This little mom and pop hole-in-the-wall has probably the best sandwich in the marina/cow/russian hill area. Most of them toasted. All of them delicious. Try the turkey sando to start.

This is the place for a massive, cheap , delicious sub sandwich in San Francisco. Their Meatball Parm Sub really hits the spot when that particular craving strikes. Read more on WinstonWanders below! Read more

A solid sub sandwich place ; not cheap , meat selection is limited. Independent legacy business (33 years per owner). Great Italian sesame bread ; meatball sub is A+

Stephen Saribalis

Driven past this place my whole life. Never walked in. Don’t make my same mistake. I’d rank it on par Roxie! Can’t go wrong with turkey or Italian.

Nikolas Bravo

The avocado sub is by far the best sandwich I've ever had

John Gower

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is great. The Viking sub was amazing

Brighty

The service was hardly with a smile, but that’s what made it memorable :)

Andrea Petrone

Tasty sandwiches . Customer service could definitely use some work though.

Elliot Danforth

Pastrami w/ avocado

Been coming here since the 90's. Quickie has nothing on the place. Toasted turkey sub is perfection!

Tal Turner

The #1 submarine sandwich shop around. I always grab the Italian Salami .

Michael Fitzgerald

Sandwich was pretty good, was expecting better based on Yelp reviews. Hot as hell inside there. Friendly Mom and Pop service tho.

Listen to Alex B and get the meatball sub . Holy schnikeys! It was brilliant. I got mine with jalapenos for an extra kick

Never eat here if the lady is working. She just, flat out, can't make sandwiches . Last time I called in, she had forgotten to take my sandwich out of the oven and the place became covered in smoke.

Chicken Teriyaki sandwich is the bomb!

Clayton Schloss
