Everything we had here was SO good. We went for the brunch and the pork belly with white beans & egg as well as the carbonara were out of this world. Good house wine . They don't take reservations .
best Italian in the city . usually 2 hour wait, show up early and leave you number then go for a walk and a beer in the neighbourhood.
The rigatoni was better than what I had in Italy. Really amazing dish. They also serve their spritzes in little bottles, which is nice because it doesn’t get watered down by the ice
At the helm of this Italian family-style restaurant is chef Jean Christophe Poirier. Welcome them to the neighbourhood and dive into their fresh-made pasta delights. Gluten-free pasta is available.
Fresh pasta made daily in-house + a Italian themed music playlist (Dean, Frank, etc.) + Prosecco on tap = arguably THE BEST Italian restaurant in Vancouver. Buon Appetito!
So good. We went for brunch and the bolognese , carbonara , pork belly were all good. Also be sure to get the cheese with truffle honey , banana bread and olive oil cake !
No reservations ...better to get there early if you want a table! Super busy! Their pastas are all homemade . Love their food!
Everything always great! For #glutenfree lovers, the GF pasta is the best I’ve had. Wear stretchy pants. #leftoversareforsissies ????
Great atmosphere, can be loud but a great environment. Worth asking for the specials as they are inventive and fantastic, the short rib risotto was fantastic.
Loved the ricotta stuffed eggplant for brunch . Bonus points for free banana bread before 10 am.
Easily some of the best Italian food I've ever had. Chickpea cauliflower dish was great, and the ragu .
Surprised after so many recommendations. Small and cozy place. Staff was extremely busy although the place is small, but they were friendly . Pasta was average to my suprise. But will give another shot
Beautiful banana bread as a breakfast appetizer
Rigatoni Bolognese was the best I've had. Pasta was cooked perfectly. Creamy, smooth and rich but not over-powering
authentic Italian in Vancouver! small menu but quality is over quantity! must try brunch here
Entrees and starters were fantastic and fairly priced . The wine program is oddly skewed towards whites, lacks interesting choices, and is priced a bit high. Skip the bread .
Great pasta . Go early since the restaurant does not take reservations .
Get the pasta - it's all homemade . The bone marrow and bison tartar are also amazing.
If you're waiting for a table. Walk up to Cuchillo for some drinks
Duck ragu pappardelle is my favourite and the panna cotta is a must get.
Banana bread with cinnamon ricotta at brunch is a surprising treat, delicious!
Everything! Amazing Italian pasta , and entres . Hint: order the day specials.
The antipasti are so thoughtful, go hard on them and split a pasta .
Everything was delicious! You can't go wrong!
As long as you are willing to commit to 2 glasses, the will open any wine on the menu and sell it by the glass.
Everything delicious! Beef tartare MUST
The meatballs are a must!
Foodies will enjoy. Non-pretentious. Good service !
The side of bocconcini fritta is a must!
Amazing pasta & an even better Spritz!
One of the best eggplant dishes I've had
Delicious brunch !!
Small intimate setting . Incredible food.
ps: and they do gluten free !
Do not come here hipsters , its already cool. And then I don't have to wait in line so long.
Was good but not great. Not worth the wait, especially with a stuck up host
Not worth the hour long wait . Unless you're only going for the fried cauliflower !
Overrated bland food. Poor mannered host.
The place is TINY. We don't have restaurants that tiny in the states . The wait time for 2 people on Saturday night was over 2 hours. Needless to say, we didn't wait.
Mindblowing food. Try the zucchini cruda salad, rigatoni, meatballs - everything was incredible. - Harv Nagra
Absolutely my favorite restaurant in Vancouver. Incredible fresh food, Italian cuisine that is the best in the city. Make sure to have the familia style menu. - Joe Nickolls
Green forest with matcha and red bean is a classic favourite - Andrew Wee
It was great last time I went here. Sat outside to enjoy the summer. Very good cocktails. - Manil
Must go place in Vancouver, must try their Whisky Hazelnut ice cream. Sure u”ll miss the taste and go again - Grace Wong
