The Lamb and Sweet Potato was delicious. Great sauce and yogurt to compliment the salty sweet flavour of the sweet potato . The lamb was perfectly cooked and not too fatty.
We come here every Saturday. Love it! Especially good with the kiddies as you can sit outside. Waitresses always very friendly .
Changed the menu at the weekend to have a weekend brunch menu . Less vegetarian / vegan options available, but still a good selection.
The building was originally designed by Walter Burley Griffin and Eric Nicholls in 1934. Burley Griffin was also the designer of Canberra.
Fish if the day roasted with tomato and olive sauce $28. Roomy space for lunch .
Amazing coffee , service and the pork shoulder and pulled pork brioche were among the best I've ever had.. Get here..
Roasted squid with loose leaf & burnt rice in romesco sause is an excellent choice !
Come early for a table. Lamb was smashing and so was the coffee and trout with wild rice .
The breakfast hash with quinoa and pork is fantastic. Coffee is from The Grounds so it's great.
Parking is ok. There are a few spots out front but due to the popularity of this place, you'll be lucky to get. Same goes for the surrounding streets. There is a Carpark next to the place out of view .
Amazing food, the staff if super friendly ! Defiantly coming back :)))
Great relaxing location, delicious seasonal menus
Mmm...pork brioche bun and hand cut chips . Nath's vanilla malt was amazing.
Great food but service could be a little quicker. Prepare to wait for a table on a sunny day!
The coffee is amazing! Quite enjoyed the banana+oats smoothie .
Nice coffee . Not much choice on breakie menu. Had the spicy bean one, taste not bad but don't think it's worth the $18 though. Will try something else next time.
Really good coffee but their bacon and egg roll could lose the bun . WAY too sweet!
The French toast is a good choice, beautiful looking and tasting!
Be sure to order one of our delicious pastries - we bake them ourselves every day!
Great gluten free food . Friendly staff .
Not really a place for kids next to the park (no ice cream or ice blocks!). Service quite abrupt and dishes expensive . Rigatoni was nice but expensive . Takeaway is available
The lamb is amazing
Good coffee , location is nice
Grounds of Alexandria served here.
Child friendly
Slow service on a Saturday morning. Food came before coffee .
On closer inspection, and after many trips down the hill , the service, and sometimes the food and coffee , is not worth the money you pay for it. Will not be returning for awhile.
Great coffee. The iced one is made with white chocolate ganache! Cakes galore by weight. Divine - K T
Superfood kelp noodle salad. The noodles are a lot like (and may be) glass noodles. Tasty ginger tamari dressing. - kate k
Avocado toast is a little different - smoky spices and quinoa sprinkled on top - kate k
New playground installed that caters for all ages. - Stuart Bradley
Love the lululemon shop here. Staff are great, friendly and non intrusive. Great place for awesome dumplings too (place adjacent to the food court) - Michelle
