If you are getting slow or non-existent care from your nurse , ask for the charge nurse . If s/he doesn't help, go up the ladder until you get the help you need.

Great specially clinics , the ER is a nightmare, staff uncaring and obviously overworked and don't have a clue what to do . Was misdiagnosed in an emergency situation. Thank god for Methodist Hospital

Take a date to the emergency room at HCMC.

Everyday stuff - go ANYWHERE else and save 5 hours. Emergency Trauma - esp. stroke or burn -- best spot you can land.

Expect long wait . This is a big city hospital

Near 4 hour wait to be admitted to the ER, and then treated by a staff who barely paid attention or even tried to show concern for anyone. Do whatever possible to NEVER need to rely on this place.
