Straub's

Great cuts of meat and prepared foods. Friendly staff , too. But don't expect good prices or a neat fancy store. A neighborhood shop, but they have to step up their game before whole foods arrives.

If you like Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams (and you should), know that you can get a TON of different flavors (including Riesling poached pear sorbet !) here. $$$ but worth it!

To the woman who made my delicious Parkside Salad extra delicious AND offered me a complimentary chicken wing because I'm having a bad day -- thank you. You are my favorite.

It's a really nice place- a little bit over pricy . We'll see how it goes when the new Whole Foods opens next year

Wanna BBQ like a pro? Get your meat from the butchers at Straub's. Talk to them. Let them share their knowledge . Not only on the meat, but preparation and cooking. You'll be glad you did.

While overpriced, Straub's has the best soup bar in town . If they have tomato bisque or Manhattan clam chowder , consider it your lucky day.

Hot Ham and Havarti sandwich is the BOMB!

Straub's has some of the best sushi in town made fresh daily in the store. The prices are very reasonable too

Hit up the deli for wing zings and buffalo chicken wraps .

The egg salad is so good, especially on a croissant .
