The bomboloni (Italian donuts ) are the bomb! Full of flavour but not overly oily or sweet. Small, but they pack a punch. Excellent bread and espresso coffee , too (including a great iced latte ).
Savory Canotto w/ brioche dough , gruyere , prosciutto , fennel seed, & mascarpone is my 1st pick of savory items. And for my fave sweet one, I'd take any one of their Canottos Dolce w/ seasonal fruit .
This spot is friendly and the vibe is modern and very chilled out . If you pass through definitely have their apple turnover . You won't regret it. Read more
Worth the carbs! one of the best bakeries in NY, also serves stumptown . this small outpost isnt on a great street so it's better as a grab and go. a few window stools but not great for staying long.
The Canotto Salato is amazing. A row of cubed pieces of prosciutto lay on top of a bed of mascarpone , gruyere , and sprinkled with some fennel seed. Oh--and the bread is a perfect pillow of goodness.
Grab a coffee from the Jolly Goat up the street, but enjoy it here where you'll be sure to satisfy whatever craving you may have...sweet or savory, they've got something for you!!
It’s so easy to love this famous bread and its variety of flavors. The Truccio Santi is divine with its chewy inside made of sweet walnuts and raisins and crispy crust topped with a touch of cinnamon .
