Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel

These tunnels are so much fun for kids . My son was in awe that we were under water! It's freaky to see the gap in the bridge !

Heck of a long bridge ! *23 miles ! Don't do it! I'm telling you! Don't do it! They are waiting for you, my friend! Hefty fines for those get caught speeding.

Don't speed and enjoy the scenery. There are cops hiding around the corners. You will end up getting a ticket especially if you have out of town plates.

If you're crossing during a storm watch out for waves coming over the walls when you are entering/leaving the tunnels , its fun but scary at the same time.

$12 for passenger cars but beautiful view of the water on an approximately 25 mile bridge ! Most gorgeous on a sunny day.

It is $13.00 to cross the bridge/tunnel. It is the longest bridge/tunnel I have been ever on and it doesnt help when you are terrified of heights.

Keep moving, but do not speed. I recommend stopping at the pier for awesome pictures.

Be sure to stop at the pier and take in the view !

Stop at the restaurant . It's been remodeled & is under new ownership. The views are awesome.

Love when a ship is crossing over the tunnel section as you enter! Enjoy the splendor of the many cargo ships on the roads (nautical highways)

I second the speeding tip. do not go over 60. The CBBT has it's own police dept., and the tickets can be steep.
