Great place to park for the Capital Crescent or C&O Canal . Tricky entrance that only allows one car at a time. Watch for entering & exiting vehicles! Much easier to enter from the westbound direction.

Site of Fletcher's Cove parkrun, a free 5k run that takes place every Saturday. Great spot in Washington for fishing , canoeing , pic-nics...

Very fun and affordable . Entrance is a little difficult esp. If you are coming on a weekday early AM because canal rd is one way.

Friendly people who both work and fish their I’m 44 and been going since I was four years old.. All races and nationalities welcome.....

Rachel Clark

The water fountain here actually works—and the water is cold! Truly a godsend during long runs on the C&O trail .

Great place and great fishing advice all in the local DC area

It's very hard to get in there..the main entrance is too small only one car can exit and enter the area...
