East Matunuck State Beach is a beach Wakefield located in United States.
950 Succotash Rd Wakefield , RI 02879 United States
Weekdays are best in terms of crowds and if you can squeeze in a late lunch or early dinner at The Matunuck Oyster Bar , I highly recommend it!
Parking is now $10 during the week and $15 on the weekend. Be smart and buy a season pass for $60 and force yourself to relax and enjoy yourself. This is the ocean state you know.
As of this summer, In state is $10 with RI registration and $20 out of state on weekdays. More on weekends. Pavilion is new ..... Very nice with snack bar and a couple if picnic tables .
There needs to be a dedicated entrance for season pass holders on the weekends. Come on RI make it worth it for people to buy the pass.
After 6pm, entrance is free and beach is empty of all but the metal detectors.
$20 for out of state residents on a Friday. Nice bathhouse though. And a very short walk from the lot to the beach .
Go early, especially on weekends!
Walk the rocks, great view of Galilee and the Block Island ferries coming and going.
Great beach ! Low waves so good for kids !
Prices jumped to double today 07/01/11! $60.00 beach pass and $12.00 daily. Hope you bought the pass ahead of time. :)
Enjoy the wonderful beach . Running on the beach is a great way to get a work out
Great waves !
Gorgeous, almost secluded beach with a wildlife/bird preserve and lots of rounded stones. The nearest public restrooms, however, are at another beach about a 30 min walk along the shore! - Catherine
Get here early to snag a spot! It gets very crowded! - Jessica
After 4pm you can park at the hill association parking lot with no problems. Nice place. - Tim Smith
An incredible Bloody Mary, various Benedicts, and home fries as good as the view. This may be the best bar in the world, but it certainly has the best breakfast. - Jake Smith
