Dongbuk Gangnu is a tower above a pond called Yongyeon located in the northeast of the Hwaseong Fortress. Its nickname is Banghwasuryujeong. This is one of the most beautiful bowers of the Joseon Dynasty.

The north-east pavilion sits above a pond surrounded by a small garden . Intended to be the second battle command post, though its scenic location made it a place favoured instead for feasts.

I was here for fall festival March/parade. Beautiful grounds and nice easy hikes to hill above. They let you ring the bell at the top to be heard in all the valley. 1000W. Pretty fun n relaxing spot - Gregory K.
