I worked for the Ritz Carlton for ten years and I can attest to the level of professional service this place provides. The food is also noteworthy. Highly recommend the crème brûlée French toast .
The Avocado Tartine is not only delicious, but a killer value at 11 bucks. Also, try the cold brew coffee on tap!
Same owner as Buttermilk Channel so it's gonna be great. Apps: half lobster and sardines w/ bread + butter. Main: Pappardelle w/ oxtail ragu . Love the walnut bitters in Normandy Old Fashioned.
We loved everything about French Louie! Great ambience - perfect for a romantic date - and the food was delicious. The steak frites and mussels normande were SO GOOD????????????
the backyard is great for brunch . beautiful decor, equally amazing food - for brunch , get the burger royale. for dinner , try steak tartare or oysters to start
House-smoked sardines from Rhode Island with rye are just the thing to start dinner . Yes, the giant slab of butter is studded with dulse, a kind of red algae, and yes, it's totally delicious. Read more
Great place to bring parents: they can feel trendy and you can eat free.
Great brunch . Good vibe, outdoor seating , and a more interesting menu than normal. The trout po boy and the socca egg dish both standouts.
Socca (chickpea pancake ) with eggs , fregola & spiced cauliflower $14. Avocado tartine w egg $10. Cappuccino soy.
One of my best restaurant in Brooklyn. Cauliflower soup , snails, mussels and fries , glass of Languedoc Roussillon, profiteroles - feels like home!
The main portions are just right so you can get a side and not be too stuffed. Get French and try their dynamite beef tartare . So good with the mustard seed and caper bits!
Amazing experience at this place! Interesting and delicious menu. Fabulous staff ! Gorgeous space, inc the backyard . Got a seat straight away at 11am Sat morning! Just perfect!!
Mezcal and pisco cocktails aren't that common in French restaurants ... if you can't handle the chartreuse , get the Chespirito... All apps and dishes were on point, too!
Sit at the bar to feel extra spoiled and attended to for dinner . Every dish we had was excellent, and the bartender 's knowledge of wine pairings was spot on.
Gougeres Gougeres are good for your soul but probably not your heart because they're just cheese and bread and wholesome goodness and oh my god I'll have three more orders to myself
This place doesn’t disappoint! Amazing food and service! Very popular so be prepared to wait if you don’t have a reservation for brunch on the weekend.
Had the $35 Monday menu and it was phenomenal. Steak frites was amazing and the backyard garden is the perfect quiet spot . Can't wait to go back!
Staff , service and ambiance (back garden !) were all amazing. Cocktails ruled. Appies and first course were wonderful. The mains were a miss (avoid the awful Grand Socca )
Distinctive, seasonal food . Friendly service . Gorgeous garden . Solid cocktails . Not too pricey . Open all day. An all around classic.
Burger the size of your head. Same with the fried chicken and the po' boy sandwich . All delicious. Highly recommended.
The socca is so good! It's a chickpea flour pancake with eggs and freekeh over it. Not your typical dish for brunch .
The 28 day dry aged steak was ridiculously good. A little pricey but worth every penny. The fries are also really good.
Great brunch , friendly staff very on top of service, just right sized portions (not fatso American super sized, sorry), delicious coffee !
Glass of champagne . Mackerel appetizer . Bavette Steak Frites . Profiteroles. Perfect service. Die happy.
Inventive menu in need of some executional fine-tuning. Beautiful room (light fixtures alone are worth the trip) with friendly service .
Delicious. Cocktails , brunch , etc. try ouefs Sacco, avocado tartine , or the brûlée French toast .
I came here after reading great reviews on foursquare, yelp & google. The atmosphere is great, we sat back in the garden . Maybe we were just unlucky but we waited for more than an hour for our food.
Burger and chilled corn soup both very good. Cordon Bleu is rich but also very good.
You’ll leave $50 poorer per person and still somehow be hungry. I’ve gone for brunch and dinner and have had to find something to eat afterwards
Good place for brunch . Egg scrambles are strangely presented but taste good - especially the mushroom !
The menu includes buckwheat crepes , chicken cordon bleu , and socca , a chickpea flatbread served with pole beans, eggs , and freekah.
Fantastic cauliflower soup , snails, mussels and s'mores profiteroles. Can't wait to return!
Cute space, good food, service took - forever - for lunch (and we were the first ones seated in the restaurant ). We waited a whole hour for lunch to come with no one checking in.
Great brunch ! Socca and French Louie are both amazing!
The trout po' boy is pretty dang good for lunch . Tangy and savory, filling, comes with a salad so you don't hate yourself.
Great patio out back. Good value French brunch .
The socca is a healthy, delicious, and unique dish. Just ask for hot sauce in addition and go to town .
Creme brulee french toast was a fantastic and creative way of preparing the dish.
French toast and cold brew were incredible! Fast and charming staff . Will return!
Absolutely amazing food and service. Thoroughly enjoyed a date night out my my new husband!!! See you again soon French Louie!

Come here for the creme brûlée french toast . A crowded but delightful brunch experience.
Steak frites are where it's at, but don't forget to get some fried artichokes for the table
An odd location, but absolutely lovely. Food was incredible (try the gnocchi ) and our server could not have been better. Be aware, it's a tad pricey .
Great brunch . Get the "Everything Mary" cocktail .
Lovely brunch options - steak tartare and Bloody Marias are great.
Get the fried sardines and try the manoir cider they have by the bottle.
With a glass of wine -Sardines , dark bread and kelp butter! Perfect for cold day.
Lamb yumm! Salade Bacchus Bon! This place is great! Wine is great! Service is great! Atmosphere is great! - Corey Lewis

Exceptional coffee and the Farmer's Open Faced Sandwich is a croque madam with bonus avocado and tomatillo pickle. It is happiness in a sandwich. - Jody Hankinson
Come through during happy hour for dollar oysters. They have super unique sauces that come in little dropper bottles. Beautiful interior, too. - Cole Kennedy
Their homemade caramel is incredibly rich and made from tiny bits of heaven. - Miriam
Almond milk lattes (OMilk)! Steel cut oatmeal! Friendly staff! The only downside is the seating (but that's expected with such a tiny space) - Keith Wood
