The Summer concert series is great for families and get-togethers. Always have great shows!

Glyn Vandenberg

Summer Concert Series is the best free thing to do in Memphis. Grab a group of friends, a blanket and a cooler , you're golden. Bound to hear some incredible acts too - FO FREE!

The Commercial Appeal

Built in 1936, the Shell once hosted acts like Elvis and Big Star. After years of disrepair it reopened in 2008 with help from the Levitt Foundation and is once again a great place to see live music .

Jessica Grammer

Since you're at the Levitt Shell bring a blanket, some ice cold refreshments and your camera ! Enjoy some live music ! Follow @levittshell and me @jgrammer on twitter #memphisISmusic

David Hill

Bring a blanket, some nosh and a friend or two. A lightweight jacket or sweater wouldn't hurt as it tends to get cold in the fall. Excellent shows though.

Kerry Crawford

All of the shows at the Levitt Shell are free and kid-friendly. Check the calendar for kid-focused day shows, too.

Sid P
