It's said that Washington Irving haunts Sunnyside, which is why the estate has a "Legend Celebration." Visit Sunnyside throughout October for ghost stories, live music and spooky fun entertainment.
Legend Days in the fall are terrific. Activities for kids of all ages and the tour is awesome.
This place closes in the winter months so I just walked down the road . Still a beautiful place though. Lot of deers walking by your side
Interesting stories on the tour : Irving would have 7 hour dinners . He expected lively discussion, but no religion or politics.
