The fried chicken is white meat, moist and the crust is perfect!! Not greasy at all!!Their apple pie is really cinnamony, tender flaky crust and the vanilla whipped cream is lightly sweetened.
Line is long but moves incredibly fast. Buttermilk fried tofu sandwich is delicious and filling. Buttermilk fried chicken sandwich is definitely a must-try though. Pear ginger scone is too sugary.
The best chicken sandwich I've ever had, took it home and adding Sirarcha and BBQ sauce did nothing to enhance the taste, was perfect on it's own.
When you go to a place that serves only a fried chicken sandwich , you get the fried chicken sandwich . And you come back again and again for the fried chicken sandwich . It's that good.
Bakesale Betty has earned a cult following for one thing and one thing only: buttermilk fried chicken sandwiches , served on a bed of vinegary coleslaw garnished with jalapeños . Read more
Damn good scones and sandwiches . The line is long, but I literally waited a minute to get my order, their staff is efficient and friendly AF and they know how to prepare for the lunch rush.
Other than the baked goods , they do exactly one thing, and they do it really well : the food chicken sandwich . Yum.
Fried chicken (or tofu ) sandwiches . Don't worry about a line as they are cranking out this fried beauties faster than you can whip out your wallet and pay the $9 for the sandwich .
It may not be as exciting as the newer Nashville-inspired spots, but it's a solidly executed basic chicken sandwich . Takeaway only - find tables on the north side of Temescal Alley (behind Pizzaiolo)

Great place to grab a deep fried chicken sandwich , pass by early, 600-800 sold everyday, when finished thats it
They have a fried tofu sandwich , too. Since I don't eat meat, I can't rate what most customers are coming here for but the sandwich was tasty.
Don't be intimidated by the long line , it's super efficient
Chicken sandwiches , strawberry shortcake , all cookies are great!
If you're looking for something other than their fried chicken sandwich , they also have superb brisket and egg salad sandwiches . Come early (before 12:30) for the brisket though - it sells out fast.
Get extra coleslaw w your sandwich !! Soo good. Also take a pot pie to go...it's even better than the fried chicken sandwich if you can believe it
Order the fried chicken sandwich , of course. Ask for it the way owner Alison Barakat likes it: extra coleslaw , extra jalapenos .
Really good cookies . Chicken sandwich is the bomb. Love the slaw with it!
The shortcake! Also, the chicken , but also the shortcake!
Warm Bread Pudding with Caramel Sauce and Walnuts - UNBELIEVABLY WONDERFUL!
The chicken sandwich is the way to go.
The fried chicken sandwich is amazing but the 9 dollar price tag is nuts ! My gf and I now purchase one and share because 18 bucks for two sandwiches seems a tad much.
Hello chicken sandwiches . Line moves fast, don't be dissuaded from the wait.
The fried chicken sandwich definitely lives up to the hype! Could use a little more heat/spice, but luckily there is hot sauce available. The slaw on the sandwich rocked! Read more
Vegetarians : buttermilk fried tofu and coleslaw sandwich ????
Some of the best fried chicken I've ever had
Although the line is often intimidating, it moves quickly. Enjoy the sandwiches , and don't skip the molasses cookies .
The fried chicken sandwich is substantial. Could use sriracha mayo or plain mayo
I recommend the Chicken Salad because the bread in the sandwich is merely mediocre. Also make sure to try the Lemon Ice! They usually run out so don't go right before closing.
Everything, and I mean everything!
FRIED CHICKEN TO write home about. sandwhich is std. more slaw + no bun == the off-menu salad , my fav.
Go to Bakesale Betty and order a sandwich pull up a stool next to an ironing board and dig in! Be sure to follow it up with a slice of pie . Heaven!
Peach pie . Get it
The chicken sandwich is world famous.
They usually have a 3rd sandwich special. Today was sloppy joe . Hard to deny the chicken though so go with friends and split all 3!
The lines are long, they run out of chicken but it is a success story because of the slaw -- jalapenos , cabbage and some secret ingredients. Good scones , and lemon ice. It all works.
The cult sandwich , a lemon ice, and a chocolate brownie . Bliss!
Chicken Sandwich with a refreshing Lemon Ice! Lines are crazy during peak (lunch ) hours-- everyday!
Best sandwiches . Don't forget the lemonade or the strawberry shortcake !
Fried chicken sandwich is large enough to share for two. Order with a lemon bar , brownie , ginger cookie , and a choc cookie . Glorious!
fried chicken sandwiches ! the fillets are juicy, crisp, and not oily.
Anticipate not being able to find parking and waiting in a line . Fried chicken sandwich is good but not worth the hype but it could've just been an off day. Very generous piece of chicken :)
