Beautiful place to spend an afternoon. If you work near by and have a lunch break, take a walk around the park ! Ice cream sellers everywhere and plenty of beautiful sunshine.

Dog park opened last year and replaced kid's playground (probably more dogs than kids in Westwood haha)
Know that there is a growing homeless population that hangs around (but I think is harmless to park guests; they typically keep to themselves and stay away from public)
Usually a decent pickup basketball game to join on two pretty well maintained courts.
Great for local families with tennis courts , two playgrounds & lots of picnic area .
