There are two Ben and Jerry's, a big one close to the main parking lot , and a smaller one by the Hyatt. If the main one is packed, try an a little walk to the smaller one.

try butter pecan in a chocolate/peanut dipped waffle cone . Its like a high-end Costco Ice Cream bar .

cannot beat being at Ben & Jerry's on free ice cream day! totally made it worth coming back the next day for more cones for the family :)

I find it quite expensive compared to many other gelato options in San Diego. My favorite is Bobboi in La Jolla. I think this place is taking advantage of the location.
