The scenery is special and may not be what to expected: TATA steel factory . I do like some contrast. Dunes and beach are still beautiful. Active beach (south) & recreation beach (north).
Not the most beautiful beach but serves the purpose. Much less crowded than other beaches so the scenery is sacrificed for peace .
It is different as e.g. Bloemendaal but has a relaxt vibe.
Better waves than in Zandvoort , but the scenery is awful. Factories , refineries, container ships.
A nice beach and not so commercial like zandvoort .

Héga je mee naar het strand van Wijk aan Zee,Zandvoort is leuk en Hoek van Holland is fijn,maar niets is beter dan aan het Strand van Wijk aan Zee te zijn!
Heerlijk om een lekker stuk te wandelen of lekker uit te waaien...
Loop gewoon en zie waar gij uitkomt! #uitwaaien
