Their wine isn't the greatest (compared to other vineyards ) but this winery certainly is a lot of fun. Their bands are generally very good and some sales of their wine support their horse rescue .

Make sure you try the Red Velvet #wine ...and check out their Horse Rescue Barn. Help #SaveTheHorses! #BaitingHollowFarmVineyardAndHorseRescue #longisland #northfork

Just watching people dance completely off beat to the band (sober and drunk) is worth the visit alone. If Sushi Nomado is in the house, it's your lucky day.

Love the atmosphere during the week, a Wednesday specifically. When there say hello to Eric who works there, he’s a really great guy.

Mike Lyden

Very commercial; not the quaint North Fork location you might be looking for. High prices and slammed with loud touristy types. It's nice they rescue horses.

Anthony Chouloute

It’s next door to Long Island Spirits Distillery . I tend to visit both places when I’m in the area.

Michael Stephens

Dancing Horse, good Wine and great people how bad can that be.

Matthew

Great place for you and your dog..friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere with live bands on the weekend. Riesling is AMAZING!

Dog friendly ! And love that their wine proceeds are to benefit the horses they have.

The new rose is amazing! Buy the ones that help the horses! Great for families, dates, friend gatherings...

Trevor

Cramped bar-like tasting room which is really unpleasant when it gets busy. Enjoy the portable outdoor toilets .

Christopher Beattie

In addition to the great wine , try the Merlot meatballs - fantastic!

Angela M

Love the Reisling!

Jasmine Lawson

My favorite winery in Long Island , be sure to try the Angel Chardonnay !

Lorenzo

Can get loud . Has decent bar food selection available for a winery - notably the merlot meatballs .

Seana Rudnick

Good for families is accurate, but not for bachelorette parties! An older crowd...and VERY stingy with the tastings(more like sips)!

Jon Dano

Wine was good. Music entertainment was great

Some wineries are like frat parties. BHFV is like a backyard barbecue .

Loved the '05 Merlot Reserve! Strong currant flavor, smooth and velvety. Low tannins for a merlot. Would be great to sip in the fall. - ann-tuh-neen
