A classic, the Martorana family has been serving Eagle Rock denizens since 1955. The card-board like crust has its days, but at its best, the fried eggplant and sausage pizza is the one to beat. Read more
lovely classic pizza joint, frequented by locals and non-locals alike. AKA come before opening time (in fact maybe 10-15 mins before that) if you want to be seated right away. otherwise order to go
Make it a "deluxe." The signature thin-crust pie arrives topped with peppers , mushrooms , and the aforementioned palate-altering sausage . Each pie is cut with signature-style scissors.
Another favorite Italian location for me & the GF, this place is definitely old school with quality food & reasonable prices. Less than 5 miles from where we live, this could be dangerous.
Pizza is some the best around! Places is usually pretty busy on weekends so be prepared to wait. The wait is worth it though!
Family-owned Chicago Italian pizzeria . Amazing original neon sign, casual old school vibe.
As everyone else has expressed PIZZA is a must here. Another on your TO-LIST, the AL FORNO , its amazing and filling. Their Blue cheese dressing is phenomenal as well .
Great pizza-most everything is good. Very old school. Just remember to bring cash. They don’t take plastic!

Expect to wait but buy some cold beer at the liquor store and wait a few for the best sausage pizza pie. Locally owned, they make their own sausage with just the right amount of fennel . mmmm.
This is simply one of the best Italian Food Places in LA period...though the pizza is cut in a weird way...so just mention that before ordering.
Not on the menu : al bianco with garlic . An extremely special pasta experience. The antipasto salad is to die for and the pizza is off the hook with double garlic .
Offbeat L.A. tip: vintage Los Angeles. Opened in 1955.
The soup is amazingive been comming here since I was a child. I always get the spaghetti al bianco . They only take cash but the place is worth it. I like the pizza but the pasta best.
Yum!!! Everything is exceptional here. EVERYTHING
this place either has the best pizza on earth or one is so hungry by the time it gets to him it tastes like the best pizza on earth
Amazing fettuccini Alfredo ! And the Orange cream soda is a great drink.
Everything! Pizza , pasta , antipasto salad
Pizza and house red wine . Old school and proud of it.
Excellent pizzas ('pies'). The medium size is more than enough for one.
The vanilla ice cream is delicious! I'm pretty sure there was vanilla seeds in it.
Amazingly thick topping on a super thin crust . The breaded eggplant is perfect on this pie!
Delicious, cheap , salty, greasy goodness. Get the eggplant and sausage or garlic and meatball pie.
Get the cappuccino ice cream dessert . So good.
Fried Eggplant Pizza
Best pizza in LA or whatever these people don't accept credit cards. I could understand it if it was a deli . This place is a sit-down restaurant and they are saving money at your expense . fascisti!
This is old school Eagle Rock and some say the best pizza in LA .
Good antipasto . Cash only .
If you like Hawaiian Pizza order it in honor of President Obama who reportedly ate here when he attended Occidental College.
If you're not getting your pizza with zesty green olives , you should go somewhere else instead of making the line so long for those of us doing it right.
Deluxe pizza is the best!
Wait for a table can be very long. Call one hour ahead to place your name on the list for a table.
Sausage pizza is awesome. This place is called casa bianca pizza pie- not pasta pie...enough said.
The pizza is so good that I said yes. Eggplant and Sausage Pizza FTW!
Pepperoni Pizza
Classic old school pizzeria with the best pie in LA, no contest!
Yes, the sausage pizza really IS all that!
Get the sausage and eggplant pizza or artichoke and eggplant if you don't eat meat.
Cheese Pizza
Remember to ask for pie cut!!
It was great!
One of the best pies in LA.
Whole wheat pizza ...yummy!

The best in town hands down....going mid-week at five we got a table right away.
This pizza is so overrated. I've ordered twice just to be fair . It's another one of those places that's "good" only because people say it's "good." Skip it and check out Brownstown down the street.
Goodly pizza .
Order or go early. Or expect at least 50min wait.
