Loved this place. Get the nan & paneer and koobideh loghmeh as apps & bareh torsh as the main. Super flavorful and juicy. So good. And don't forget the pomegranate wine !!
Decoration is good the place is small. The been soup is delicious. Also u can smoke shisha / hooka .
Best Persian food apart from mama’s kitchen. Especially the torsh kebab ! Don’t see how it can get any better.
Great food, great drinks, and amazing people...make sure you try the Torsh (tenderloin marinated with pomegranate and walnuts and grilled over an open flame) a must have!
As per our waiter 's recommendation, we ordered, mirza ghasemi, koobideh, and torsh kabob . All 3 were absolutely delicious.
Very nice Middle Eastern restaurant . Pricey though. Highly recommended
I went here years ago with my friend K. Didn't have much except some shisha , and chai which I remember was very good. More of a coffeehouse than a bar .
About main courses My advice is the beef because is a real meal size. And for dessert i don't know but baklava cake was nothing special
Winterlicious is on! Tried the beet salad , grilled chicken and rose water ice cream ! delish!!
Everything is super yummy !
One of my favorite bars in the city . Try the Torsh kabab . Very rare Persian dish. The only place that serves it properly.
Eggplant dips are delicious. Stay late for tasty hookah .
Torsch, morg (chicken ), eggplant appetizer , vodka and cocktails
This is my favourite restaurant in the city . Nan O Paneer is amazing and the Torsh ...great dining all around!
Lovely amazing staff ???? yummy food ????
Backtiar's Revenge Cocktail is a must be
Join us at Banu from January 25 – February 7, 2013 for a delicious, 3-course, prix fixe meal as part of Toronto's Winterlicious. #LiciousTO
Be prepared to spend $20 to smoke a hookah , plus $10/person on food or drinks- thats the minimum. Really nice atmosphere, though.
After you try the chargrilled tenderloin 'chenjeh', be sure to have a few puffs of mango hookah (sheesha ). you might even run into Jian Ghomeishi ;)
Ambiance and staff
A very nice place. Reading the FAQ I felt a sense of self-confliction (khod dargiri).
About main courses the sheep cheese is like a appetizer don't order is too small
Been here from 9:30 and still waiting for my dish for about 1 hour and 45 min!
Well no more hookah here. Apparently it's illegal in Toronto ????
I love the Nan o Paneer and the Torsh ... but the Del (cow's heart) is also incredible.
Definetely overrated and expensive . King is naked but nobody says that because it is on a golden plate
ask them to make you platter of meats and vegetables . and don't be a dick because they will come right back at you
Read this. Wow!
Delicious food :)
Their # is 416-777-2268
Best beef in the city .
No more hookah here
The food was tasty but the portions were wayy too small.
a little over priced but unique niched
Cozy outdoor patio. Good service. Great sangria. Recommendation from the menu: beef tacos, slow cooked for 24 hrs - simply divine! - Olessya K
Worth the $30 price tag for one cocktail, epic pictures and a sensory one-of-a-kind experience. Order from the Modernist menu and arrive at 6 when they open! I recommend the Spring Thaw. - Ariana Voyer
Tuesdays: come out to Karaoke Kult! Previously at Neu ral now here! Beautiful venue. Yummy food, well priced drinks, pool table and plenty of seating. - Leah Swartz
