I went to the Knob last year and had lawn seats , which gave my group the perfect view of the stage. I would recommend this venue to enjoy a night of great sounding music .
Great music venue . Saw Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers 40th Anniversary Tour here. Amazing show, great sound, great seating. One of my favorite concert venues to date!
This was one of my favorite venues on my Get Sleazy tour . Kickass place to play on a warm summer night- the venue is halfway inside and halfway outside. Alice Cooper played the night after I left!
Love this venue! Forever Pine knob! Check out the bar/eatery behind the hill for some great Mac and cheese and draft beer selections ! Usually a spot to sit down, relax and enjoy some grub.
The hill is okay, but I really like the seats under the pavilion ! Drinks are expensive , so make sure you bring enough ca$h.
The parking situation is atrocious and the lines to get in take forever. Make sure you show up super early.
Ozzy & Sabbath were great! Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler & their young drummer were fabulous! My ears were ringing for hours after the concert ! :-D
Such an amazing venue! My personal favorite. They host amazing metal concerts !!
Amazing time tonight.. next time we will spend the extra for the seats but we still had a great time and Tim put on a amazing show
You're not too far from the iconic Rudy's Market . Check them out as they carry lots of Made in Michigan products, great pizza , beer , & wine selection .
I remember back in the day it was known as Pine Knob. Not a ton has changed, especially the dirty bathrooms , but it's the best venue around for a rock concert .
The sound is not perfect and this is the kind of venue that does not help gigs to gain energy (despite the venue's name :) )
Great venue, but eat before the show! Also drinks are crazy expensive ($8 just for a soda ), but can't bring your own so stick to the bottled water.
Loved it!! As usual beers are through the roof. Get tipsy before! I had so much fun.
Some craft beer options and you can snack at the Woodshop. It is quite a trek from Detroit, though.
You can't even bring sunblock through the gates. Ridiculous, especially with the hot sun baking you.
Been here a ton of times and even worked here love the crowds and the concerts always rock the house. Awesome place in the summer..
Be sure to get there early for lawn seats , the higher the better as people aren't in your way; but its still a very small stage.
If you want to get some turns in before a trip out west and you live in southeast MI...go here. It rocks and the terrain parks rule. And you have access to some of the best instructors in the biz...
Great sound quality. The lawn can get a bit rowdy. A few bruises are good for you anyway.
Great outdoor concert venue ! Really good acoustics !
Great place to see a summer concert !
Be forewarned, smoking is permitted in the lawn seating area!
If the concert you're at isn't that great, leave during the encore and save an hour of extra travel time home.
It was a great time with Ringo Star. And even better after a drink.
Spend a little more and sit under the pavilion . Stay off the lawn.
Concert was great, but change the name back to Pine Knob already ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The top of the hill gives you the best view at night time!
Well run facility. Traffic control is amazing.
With a handicap sticker, parking is convenient.
Awesome outdoor venue!!
Gotta tailgate and drink in parking lot before go inside. Drinks $22 for frozen daquiri and jack and coke inside.
Bring ear plugs for your own safety. Lynard Skynard was so over amped that their sound was distorted. It took three days before my hearing returned to normal.
Don't forget to bring your own plastic cups! Drinks have to be in them :-O
Box office is open for the summer: M-F 10-6, Sat 10-4, only open Sunday if there's an event (10:00am)
Sunday Night @ DTE w/ my girls!!! :-)
You need to come here to really #Live. Great amphitheater !!
Sunday Night @ DTE w/ my girls!!!
Best place to see a concert in metro Detroit hands down(lawn or pavilion )!!!
Hey Swarm! You guys need to rename this venue to Pine Knob Music Theater !!
Concerts ,clean bathroom , food & beer choices
Pavillion seats are always worth the extra money (instead of buying lawn tickets!)
Fun time. But drinks are wayyyy too expensive !
Great Tim McGraw show! & packed house!
Sit in the lawn!! Great view !!
Bring your bike ! Bike parking is best, right by gate!
everything was awesome
Great concert venue Ted Nugent Rocks
The nice black man selling shirts in the parking lot has great customer service skills!!!!!
Mazda is treating us well here. VIP parking !
This is a great place to go for casual drinks or take the family for dinner. The menu will have something for everyone, and the food and service is good. - Rebecca Bee
Highly recommend the pretzel bites and sliders. Love the TVs - great spot to watch sports and hang out with family and friends. ???? - Mary C
