Nice hiking center with a variety of trails all with that pine forest smell. Summit Trail is great but can be a scramble at the end if you are trying to make it back before they close the gate.

Great place to either car camp or RV camp. Spaces are relatively close together, bathrooms and showers are clean and well stocked. You can wald to downtown Idyllwild in 20 minutes (1 mile). - Jay LaFunk
