Centre Street Deli

One of the top 2 delis in the GTA. Have the old fashioned platter and a bowl of matzo ball soup . Heaven! Is usually very busy, so be prepared to wait a little, but it's well worth it! 9/10

Smoked meat platter (half & half ) served with not one, not two but 6 types of mustard . Sweet & hot was the best, there was also honey , dijon , spicy brown, hot & French's. The fries tasted home made .

Bowl of chicken soup with kreplach (dumplings ): really tasty soup ; Jews have a deserved reputation for chicken soup ! Kreplach good too. The skin was a bit thick but that may be as it's supposed to be.

I really don't know what you shouldn't eat. Eat it all! My favs are eggs and onions , a medium Old fashioned on rye , blintz's with cherry sauce and beef knish with a side of gravy .

This might be the first Jewish deli I've been to which serves pork . The cheery cartoons & murals on the wall give the place character & service here is good. Karnatzel (sausage ) was decent.

The smoked meat was good: moist & flavourful. Mild had more luscious marbling but old fashioned was tastier. There was quite a lot of meat. The coleslaw was crisp with a good balance of tartness .

The taste is as good as the look. The service is perfect and they are so nice and gentle. So suggested

Amazing hand cut smoked meat and deli . Try the house special Old Fashioned.

You may not know this, but Centre Street Deli has the best chicken fingers ever. Doesn't matter how old you are, they are that amazing.

Best whitefish spread. Yummy French fries . Better than Pickle Barrel. Which doesn't represent the deli it used to be .

I liked the brunch menu . Had eggs , can't go wrong with eggs . I didn't get sick afterwards.

I try this one and it's perfect, I will try the rest and post the other foods test later.

This is a great place with the most authentic smoked meat you'll find outside of Montreal. Skip Sundays where you'll be lined up for a while.

Food is very mediocre!!! There is nothing of quality available. The menu is very boring. I tried the grilled chicken and that was alright but nothing to be exited about.
