It is quite a small place, worth attending if you are within 30 minutes drive or so. Can be crowded in the morning! Admission is $8 including children from 1 year old. Kids like the place!
Great place to cool off during the summer months when the beach is too much hassle. Ver good combination of Rueben H Science activities and outdoor exploratory areas.
Looks like a small place from the outside, but lots of fun activities for the kiddos to do.
They're working on creating an edible garden and earthworm farm ! I can't wait for the kids to experience that!

Great place for toddlers! You’ll find chickens , butterflies and art classes here too.
Had a great time and totally wore out the grand baby! Great place to take the little ones for fun and entertainment.
The bubble activity center is very popular with the kids - located outside under shade!
If you are active duty military they are part of the Blue Star family making admission free. Not worth full price but free is always a winner!
Might be good if you're a local. Seemed more like a daycare vs a discovery museum .
Kids are disappointed the treehouse, school house and giant bubble machine didn't make the move to new location.
They need more places for adults to sit while they're recovering from playtime.
Punt free zone!!
not really worth it; way smaller than it looks online- basically one room with a few little stations
The parking situation isn’t great (street parking) but it is right across from the San Diego Children’s Discovery - Leslie
