It's a great escape in the middle of Springfield. They've got well kept trails and almost guaranteed deer or some wildlife sighting.

Jogging hours are 6-9 am and 2-5 pm M-F...and 6-12 on Saturday. Take note, cause the old dudes WILL yell at u :)
Tons of deer with some turkey and vultures thrown in.
Easy to see deer and fawn here - they are so tame they just stand and stare back at you. I also saw a big owl one afternoon!
Park outside gate and sneak in for a sunrise walk. Great way to start day
