Deep dish pizza is crusty on the outside and soft in the middle: high quality stuff that is hard to get right. Takes half hour but it's well worth it if you have the time. Wonderful place!

Great pizza served in a unique and artistic location! Everything is fresh and delicious! Make sure you bring cash...they have an ATM there just in case. Check out the gift shop also.

The Satch salad is amazing and the pizza is the best in Gainesville. Try the spicy sausage on your pizza or calzone . Don't forget to visit Lightening Salvage while waiting for your table!

Hadn’t been there in years but the pizza was AMAZING. Their pan pizza was probably the best pizza I’ve ever had. One slice was plenty, two put me into a food coma.

Don't skip the salad . It's the best house salad around! Not sure what to get? Try a Mama Pizza w/ pepperoni , sausage , bacon & ham , or a Mama Pizza w/ artichokes , mushrooms , spinach & garlic .

The vegan pizzas are amazing! We got the Daiya mozzarella , BBQ tempeh , red onion , and pineapple on the regular crust.

The icing on the cake was definitely the dessert menu of presenting 3D photos of the dessert really innovative idea Mr. Satchel.

The pizza is good, but what's really awesome about the place is the atmosphere. Nowhere else in Gainesville is quite like Satchel's!

When the weather's nice, the lunch special in the van should happen every week.

Come early so you won't have to wait. But if you do wait, be patient. This isn't fast-food pizza ; this is excellent pizza !

Pizza slice was okay. More of a hype of having pizza at Satchels. Other very interesting items were on the menu. Ruthie's brownies were a tad bit too sweet. I like my brownies more gooey and wet.

Go to Leonardo's- Better quality and closer to campus. Satchels has good salad , and it's cheap if you split with a group. Pizza is just decent but they're generous with the toppings.

Better ask for a "sample" of their homemade soda - I tried the diet and decided WATER was what I was going to drink.
