Very large main courses so bring your appetite, order one main course with several sides and share OR prepare to take home a doggie bag. Fried catfish and shrimp are worth breaking any diet!

Opened 1969. South L.A. Creole restaurant opened by New Orlean’s transplants Harold & Belle Legaux. It was renovated in 1985.

Fried seafood platter with red snapper and shrimp is my favorite deep fried seafood restaurant in LA ????. We got the house salad with green goddess dressing ; went well with the salty food.

Enjoy d Moment

Charbroil Oysters ... ... Definitely feel like I am back in NOLA. Though much smaller than the real ones, they are delicious. Squeeze of lemon may change the taste totally... Watch out.

The charbroiled oysters with brown butter was divine! I'd recommend most dishes.

There is only valet parking but they take credit card . It’s a creole menu with lots of po boys , jambalaya , and other standards. The average dish is $15-$25 so it’s expensive .
