Tried kalguksu for the first time-supposed to be one of the best in LA. Not impressed-bland with less-than-chewy noodles . Tossed in a bunch of the bottomless kimchi and it helped-but not enough.

Pork Mandu seem fresh homemade . Kalgooksook seemed decent. The kmchi's are awesome! Stay away from gunmandoo, seemed of the frozen variety unfortunately. Service was very nice! Big fan of the kimchi !

Kal guk soo: the chicken broth was tasty. The noodle was smooth. Dumplings got tiny bits of meats and lots of chives . The skin was a bit too thick. Not bad. It comes w just so so kimchi . Good dish.

Interior feels like a hospital for some reason. Dumplings are tasty and cold buckwheat noodles are fine.

I still don't know what its called, but ask 'em for the jalapeno+green onion soy sauce when getting the mandu . Its a GREAT dipping sauce for these

They no longer serve bibimbap on their menu. Dumplings were good but soup has msg so if you’re allergic to it like me, beware

While they may have the best+most-garlicky kimchi around, they also offer free mouth-wash in the bathroom ! So eat away!

Nice waiters , but bibimbap is average and bathroom could have been way cleaner.

Got super discriminated here. Never even got to eat. Had to leave with my girlfriend after being ignored for half an hour. I'll never come back.

Most recommended place for kalguksu. However, highly overrated!! Food is just OK. If u don't speak korean , good luck with communicating.. 서비스도 별로고 맛도 그냥 그저 그래요. 그냥 기대없이 쌀쌀한 날 한끼 따뜻하게 때우는 느낌 정도..?
