Quattro Canti

Quattro Canti is a baroque square made on 1609-1620. The building contain fountains with statues of the four seasons, the four Spanish kings of Sicily , and of the patronesses of Palermo.

Starting from the bottom, Quattro Canti’s three levels of statues represent the four seasons, then four Spanish kings and four patron saints of Palermo (Cristina , Ninfa, Oliva, and Agata).

Very busy historical quarter. You will find the traditional people with horses that offer a tour to tourists

Very crowded . But still a beautiful place to take photos .

Interesting way of building a small square. Walk around and you will find many architectural treasures.

Also part of the center of the city center.
