Plaça Reial is a plaza El Barri Gòtic Barcelona located in Spain.
Plaça Reial 08002 Barcelona Catalonia Spain
Really Beautiful square . Enjoy the architecture of the surrounding building, the fountain , the palm trees , famous Gaudi's lamppost. Surrounded by restaurants . Grab a bite to eat, sit & enjoy the place
A hidden gem next to the Rambla . Unwind and have a cocktail or Moritz, the Barcelona beer . The prices here are a bit higher, but certainly worth it! Also very nice in the evening!
Nice plaça for relaxing in Barcelona ???????? you have to visit and feel the atmosphere ☺️
Beautiful square ✨ a bunch of nice restaurants just off La Rambla ???? street entertainer ???????? Lovely fountain in the middle. Lovely atmosphere.????
Beautiful square surrounded by palm trees and lit by street lamps designed by Gaudi. Watch the queue in front of Les Quinze Nuits grow around dinner time.
Hustling and bustling square with a few attached hotels and lots of tapas spots and vendors! Just be wary of some mediocre restaurants and early (10pm) kitchen closing times at some patios !
The atmosphere is lovely and nice perfect place for couples or friends gathering you have to pass it if you're at la rambles
A charming square lined with palm trees and a fountain , complete with bustling bars and restaurants ! Worth a visit!
Favourite square❤ At night this place becomes a great spot for drinks.
It’s placed in the Gothic Quarter, you have to visit it. Also it’s super close to Mercat La Boqueria, so it’s a must to do in Barcelona.
A whiff of fresh air in one of the busiest parts of Barcelona. Sit by the fountain or in one of the many restaurants and enjoy people watching !
if it was one place that would give me the spanish vibe, especially spanish nights vibe, it was this square. muy caliente.
Sort of the main modern plaza in the old city center. Cool to walk around in, also where Gaudi walking tours often start, but otherwise a little bit too touristy . Especially the restaurants .
This is where you can truly feel the Mediterranean spirit of Barcelona! Also, Gaudi's first civil engineering project is here --- the street lights.
A great choice of restaurants around the sides of the square, a beautiful fountain in the center. We enjoyed just sitting there, watching the street dancers.
No.1 romantic place in Barcelona. Good for short visit, just relax or enjoy a glass of wine in one of the restaurants , Rossini is a favorite.
This is what Barcelona is all about (in my opinion) ! A lovely square full of restaurants , low key , relaxed & simply joyful !
The piazza is a lovely with beautiful palm trees ????
Love the palm trees and the atmosphere. Can't avoid the tourist mass though;)
The colorful cafe in one of the squares corner is the place to observe the pulse of the Placa Reial.
One of the most beautiful squares in Spain. Go early morning, without tourists and dubious crowd
The most beautiful square in Barcelona beautiful in day and night very nice restaurants and atmosphere.
Very nice place to have a drink with a lot of cafes and restaurants . You can sit outside if the weather is warm.
Plaça Reial in the early evening - one of the hubs of Barcelona's nightlife!
Magical place. Come here at night to check out the twinkly lights, the music and action, get a drink and head out to Barceloneta :)
Best mojitos and piña colada at Raimon Social Club by plaça Reial!!
Placa is packed with terraces and is a really good place to chill or have lunch and dinner ????
Plaça Reial! From quiet square to tapas central!
If you go to Plaça Real pay atention to the 2 Gaudi Streetlights and don´t miss the opportunity of watching a jazz concert at Jamboree or an Indie one at Sidecar. Tarantos for flamenco!
You have to visit this area, This square is like the soul square in Madrid... you can drink , eat
Very cosy square with lots of different restaurants and bars . Stop by there before you visit restaurant Viana.
Very nice square between the rambla and the gothic quarter
beautiful placa. Be sure to check the top parts of the palms - there are small aprrots nesting there :)
Cozy pace to have a rest, enjoy the surroundings on a sunshine afternoon would be very nice. Sometimes they are steer artists performing here.
Visit in the "off hours" for a morning coffee , a lunch or a cool night out at one of the clubs!
Great place to sit a relax but they are mostly restaurants can be hard to find a seat just for drinking beer . Food served is good quality but they are a little arrogant when it comes to service. Slow!
Very nice place to seat outside especially during evenings. There are too many street performers and sellers though.
Very lively place with lots of restaurants and street performances . Beautiful architecture !
Good to see, but I think you should try other places to eat in other parts of Barcelona. I found it little bit expensive .
Very touristic and crowded area. Most places have huge menus, which is usually a sign of lower quality.
Day & night time - this plaça has nothing to do. Visit Ocaña , the most chick & modern place here.
Plaza is great, restaurants are so so. Nice to visit place
Beautiful and romantic place when there are less tourists , e.g. during week days.
Full of terraces , here you can enjoy the pleasure of nice view , great food and smoke fine cigars . Good ambient by night.
Nice fountain in a cute square with tons of people watching at one of the many outdoor eateries
lovely place but full of tourists ➡️ expensive for ordinary food and drinks
There are so many places to sit and drink some Sangria . Atmosphere is really good.
Nice tapas and friendly service in Ocaña , also reasonably priced. The exact opposite to the rest of the square!
This place reminds me a bit of Corfu, Greece. Filled with cafés and restaurants
Relax with a drink or meal and watch the world go past. Lovely square with atmosphere
I can recommend paela, black rice w/ cuttlefish and a catalunyan dessert with ice cream. Very recommended place. Price is much better than restaurants at La Rambla street. - Martin
Nice alternative small bar with club area below. Drinks are comparable cheap and music nice - Michael Seifarth
Highly recommended spot for some flamenco in Barcelona. Come hour before to get a ticket or get them online! - ollka

Really beautiful for a long walk, lots of food options, shopping options, and so many sights just steps off the main road. Head there and branch out! - Kenny
