The only problem is that there is so much interesting photos, stories and exhibitions at every step of way (a few floors with many rooms each) that's easily to miss something or get dizzy...(part I)
You are walking through history and re-creating it for yourself, the museum is like a good book , intense, direct and thought-provoking. Great respect and many thanks to people who created this place.
FIRSTLY: Book tickets in advance. We stood i que for about two hours w. only 1 person selling tickets. SECONDLY: Take a tour with a guide for 2-3 hours if you want to learn, read and see everything.
It is rich, well designed and for sure wont disappoint you. You can either visit it by yourself or take a guided tour . Be aware of waiting line and work time as you can hit the door before your turn.
Amazing place - a definite must see when in Kraków! Very informative and interesting. It's free entry to the museum on Mondays (open 10am - 2pm) and takes approx. 1.5hrs to get round it!
The Museum is amazing original Entrance Modified Since i been in 7 years ago. the museum covers the life in Krakow during The Holocaust Like a travel in time year after year recommend visiting it
A fascinating insight into the history of World War 2. A step back in time to the 1940's. Great experience, highly recommend. Need a whole day there to see everything.
This place tells full story of Krakow before and during Nazi occupation . Incredible amount of information and sad facts really bring you down, but this is the stuff everyone needs to know.
The museum is about the history of Kraków prior, during and after WWII. It is very informative, dynamic and interactive . However, if you come here for Oskar Schindler, only one room is devoted to him.
The museum is great for those that may not have enough time to visit Auschwitz, as it does not offer a tour of Schindler's actual factory . Instead, it provides an overview of the events that occurred.
Do yourself a favor and buy the memorial trail ticket from the nearby Muzeum Apteka Pod Orłem. Then, you can skip the line here and have entrance at two other places.
It's best to begin your day here (later, when it's tourist season, lines for tickets are long) and later with a new perspective visit Jewish quarter (Kazimerz) and have a lunch or drinks.
It's relatively new but it's a must while being in Krakow. Lots of personal stories and original material from WWI and II and also the the struggling with Soviets
Make sure if you're not with a guided tour to get ahead of them if you can, nothing like being crowded room with a shouting person while you're trying to read something emotional...
The exhibition has lots of information on the invasion of Poland by the National Socialists. Curators did a great job of storytelling. Oskar Schindler is an afterthought, but that's not a bad thing.
Can be very crowded and don't use the restroom by the ticket office . Exhibition is informative but all over the place in terms of information. Be sure to watch the movie at the very beginning.
Totally must-see in Cracow. Greatly curiously presented the illustration of city under Nazi Occupation 1939-1945. Rather not for children - lots of reading. Reserve about 1,5-2 hours or even more.
Simply must visit while in Krakow. Not so much about Oskar Schindler but more about the life in nazi period.
Very good museum , ticket not expensive . It's not so much about the factory itself, but also about Krakow history - but it's definitely worth a visit!
Good museum.you can easily spend hours there. It is a museum about the Krakow story
For the interaction and the way the exhibition is arranged, it is the best museum I've ever visited in my life. Worth every zloty you pay for it.
Don't pay money for a tour . You can go there with tramway and 5 min. walk. Watch the movie first, so you will not need any guide. But you will not see many things about steel cookingwares etc...
2 must things before visiting: 1) Watch Schindler’s List 2) Reserve a ticket online at least a few days/week in advance. I was 30 min late to my reserved time & they didn’t seem to mind too much.
A must see in Krakow. You need 2 to 3 hours at least for a decent visit. Very interesting and visually appealing. Try to avoid crowds.
I've left the museum in tears - such a touching exhibition ! Definitely recommend to spend here several hours while in Krakow.
Very impressive and touching museum . I admired the work that has been done to collect all these pieces of memory about that dreadful time. Must visit!
Helpful tip: you can book the tour or visit on the website or you can wait in the line , but it would be better for you to get to the line early
interesting museum , but its tight corridors can ruin your visit if there are groups attending the exhibition at the same time.
The day I went it was free admission - there were two large groups going through that really made this a difficult place to fully experience.
Interesting museum with a lot of period items ane personel stories. I recommend.
Only one preserved room from the original Oscar Schindler's factory (the Office), the rest is a history muzeum about nazi occupation of Cracow. If you expect to see the factory , you'll be disappointed
Must to see in cracow to understand the history of poland with video photo and descriptions.be there before 5pm
(Part II)...So, if possible, bring water with you. Also, location is in abandoned-looking neighborhood and if you can spare for ????, take one to here.
Definite must visit but bring some time. You‘ll easily spent 2+ hours here.
Nice museum , but it is not only about Oskar Schindler. On monday's it is free entrance
the presentation and organization are terrible, but still there are lots of interesting artifacts worth the while
Excellent museum , very well presented. Check out the 3D pictures of Hitler in the beginning.
Only sells 1000 tickets per day. If you get here after 2 pm on july-August, you WONT HAVE A TICKET. The exhibition is worth the visit.
Incredible museum . Permanent exposition is interesting and interactive . Must visit in Krakow.
Book your ticket in advance to avoid wasting time in the long queue with only one till.
Very interesting and impressive museum which really shows the impact of the war on the city of Kraków.
Fascinating to visit and learn about the real man and not just the movie . Plan for at least 1.5 hours.
If you want to know about the Ghetto during the Nazi occupation , you must come here! Just be early to avoid the long queues. It's free on mondays.
Incredible, took me three hours to go through. It's a good idea to book your tickets in advance.
Really nice museum . Very informative and interactive .
Get your ticket from the Eagle pharmacy the day before to avoid a big queue. Limited daily spaces so go early ????
A place filled with history. The museum of contemporary art is worth checking out right behind Schindler's factory
Amazing museum ! Go early to avoid crowds and feel the real atmosphere.
Wear comfy shoes and bring a bottle of water. It is warm in here but amazing experience. Humbling
There isn't actually much information on Schindler. The displays mainly concentrate on the early occupation of Krakow/Poland 1939 - 1943.
Amazing place, a must see in krakow - very interactive, very modern , uncovers a great perspective of the city - Magdalena Weiner
Buy the memorial trail ticket so you can skip the line at Schindler’s factory and have entrance at three places total for seven days. This was my favorite visit of the three. - Stacy Bo Bacy
Very interactive and suitable for kids. The movies at the end can take quite some time, and watching those great productions, the exibition seems to be lacking content... - Niklas Weins
Pretty good collection and tenporary exhibitions. The building is very interesting and the Krakow's artists exhibit was my fave ❤️ - Olivia Meza
Really nice concept of place with chairs. Really sad chairs. - Anna Feruga
A really great place, the best mall I've been to. Awesome place to spend an evening. - Al Jey
