You KNOW it's good when you walked in 95% of the patrons are Japanese. Sashimi is yummy fresh, Fried Squid tentacles & also Squid w/ gut Sauce & Garlic . Very small intimate place & make reservations .

Don't come if you're looking for the typical Japanese-American restaurant . This is much more traditional Japanese. Make reservations ! It is a super hole in the wall with few seats

Great sashimi , grill, bar food, ramen . Everything! I like the rice sandwiches too :)

Tee Tran

Absolutely delicious! There are 5 pieces to an order, but I was a bit too excited to eat before snapping a pic! ????

I am so sold on this place. Can't wait to go back!

Judith Cherry

The food is delicious and the staff is wonderful. It is nothing fancy ,but still a great place!

This is a cold dish. It isn't anything fancy so don't expect much from this item. It is simply cold oyster in olive oil .

Kevin Nguyen

Super traditional Japanese environment. It's legit. Food is super good and fresh too!

Super authentic , even down to the smell. Very nostalgic!!

Never a disappointing meal. This place is truly a hidden gem !

Jesse Ting

This tomato wrapped in bacon thing is surprisingly good.

Until izakaya filters down to us here in the hinterlands, this place will do nicely. The fried chicken and oshinko are worth the trip from anywhere in D/FW.

David Holmes

Best ramen around. Welcoming staff , fast service .

Kirk Sefchik

Real Japanese cuisine, not the Americanized garbage you get at the mall . Try it!

I had a great time at Kura with a friend! It was so nice to order some of my favorites (like eel) on the conveyer belt, but also try new things like the Texan Roll when it floated by. - Hannah Alkadi

Super fresh and delicious. Double Pleasure and Salmon Dynamite were awesome. Miso soup is really good too. Spicy salmon is solid and actually spicy. - Russell Hirschorn

Place is pretty cool, minimal Japanese look going on, fish mostly flown in from Tokyo. A little overpriced with service charge tacked on, but the rolls are good. - Carlos Coronado

I had beef teriyaki bento 2 months ago. Loved it. I came back in a winter night for a loaded Katsu curry and tacoyaki (octopus ball). The curry came with salad which make this meal healthier. - Crystal Lin
