Tables towards the back of the pub for the River Thames side and some lovely views , but it does get chilly! Be sure to say, "Hello," to the lovely Geraldine and Frank who have been there for 15 years!
A perfect spot for a Sunday brunch before a visit to Kew Gardens ! And a great vegetarian roast!
Nice outside sitting area just near Thames. Especially on a sunny day. Thames is more like a natural river compared to city side. During high tide Thames may surprise you while sitting ;)
Absolutely rammed on Sunday's - so book ahead for lunch or be very very nice to the landlady who will do her utmost to find you a suitable place to sit!
We’ve been here a few times for Sunday roast , but won’t be going back. While the meat is pretty decent, the veg is flavourless, the roast pots tough and leathery (reheated?), and the vegan burger vile
Sunday roast , service and location all fabulous. Highly recommend. Ask for a table with a view .
Great view of the river , dog friendly , staff are great. Sunday roasts are excellent
Great location. Wonderful landlords. On a sunny day it's hard to beat.
My best pub so far! Great view and Pimm's
Gorgeous Riverside location. Perfect on a sunny evening
Local legend has it that this inn was used by Oliver Cromwell as a headquarters, which he reached by tunnel from his hiding place on nearby Oliver’s Island during the English Civil War.
Lovely setting by the river , if only the food was as captivating, limp leaves, tired tomatoes and chili con carne that resembled dog food - all sent back. Stick with the feta stuffed chili !
Great Sunday roast and a nice view of the river .
The end of an era last night. Frank and Gerardine farewell party

Nice pub with a view
A serious establishment staffed by some youngsters. Didn't enjoy the ordering process at all. Also the kitchen closes at 9. Apparently 9 is the new black.
Eat the cheesecake ! It's Dee-lightful!
jaffa cake desert with vanilla ice cream .... this pub the best near here, view , ambience, service.
Cosy pub , does a decent nut roast.
Good Sunday Roast especially rafter walking along the river from Richmond.
Proper old school landlord and landlady . Just don't ask them a stupid question or you'll know about it...
The view is beautiful but the food wasn't very good sadly. Service was impeccable though!
The Fullers ESB was excellent Read more
Great spot by the river
Great location, friendly staff
If you want food on a Sunday evening (after 6) give it a miss!
Great riverside pub - dog friendly inside and out
Check the specials.
Awesome hot chocolates for the kids, and great friendly staff
Try the Cajun chickens with fried rice . Yumm!
Very slow service. It's been 50 mins since we ordered and we still haven't got our food!
Juicy, spicy but tasteless chicken curru
Great river views ....
الڤيو وقت الغروب ????????????
Arrive early on a Sunday to avoid dissapointment if you wish to sample the Sunday Roast menu as it get's very busy! Worth it though, great food, great service and resonably priced! - Chiswickians
Great view and beer. Go for the beef and red wine lasagne, it’s great as you can see. - Diogo Albuquerque
Great selection of quality beers in pleasant surroundings. Good food & music. - Michael Toussaint
One Over the Ait just by the river (next to Kew Bridge) is a popular boozer with plenty of outdoor seating for when the weather is fine… - Jeremy Wells
