Bukit Timah Nature Reserve Singapore
The name was a corruption of the Temak tree which grows in the area. "Bukit" is Malay for "hill ”, 'Timah" is for “tin”. Thus the mistaken belief that tin can be found here. Source: Infopedia
Definitely more strenuous than other reservoir works but nice and shaded most way. Quite a bit of a hike up compared to our usual flat roads , but worth the walk up.
After coming down the summit. Detour to catchment path and head for rock path. Enjoy.
Most people can make it up the hill between 15-30 mins
