PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO VISIT THIS PLACE!! Wonderful building helpful staff ! The visitors were with suits& nice dresses . I recommend to watch Ballet like we do The Swan Lake . You could not take photos

A ballet at Mariinsky is gonig to be one of your most precious exprience.????Great architecture .the problem is that stage box has too many rows that in the the 4th row you can't see the stage at all!!????

The much discussed (and criticized) second stage will open in May. Never mind the outside, the inside is modern and most likely world class with acoustics . So if visiting this summer, book ahead!

Mr. Gergiev manages to maintain theatre 's reputation. Magnificent interior, excellent orchestra, outstanding productions (even nowadays the venue hosts new operas, designed specially for it).

The history combines with art , music , ballet and opera ???????? I’m soo happy that i could find a ticket for The Swan Lake ☺️

It remains the best theatre I went in. For now. It's like you are in some other distant age. Interior can't be described, you won't put your eyes down for a while. Even opera i watched couldn't spoil.

Celopatra ballet was phenomenal!????highly recomended!beautiful choreography and music.also great costume and stage design.

Watched Lady of Macbeth, was amazing... dress circle first row, great view to the stage and the display with the legends is very well positioned. Loved the experience

Mariinsky is just mariinsky. Try to get into the historical venue, a must if you’re visiting the city .

Be careful when choosing seats! The place is packed with chairs, and some places have the view blocked by columns.

Several years ago, I saw the play of Romeo & Juliet here. Absolutely magnificent!
