Check the schedule and try to plan for the full 3 hour tour ! It blew my mind and flew by so quickly. Jill knows really knows her stuff and is a VOLUNTEER! Simply amazing!...
Very interesting and cool place to spend a few hours in the evening learning about the night sky. You get to look through some very large telescopes at the skies above. Great volunteers, too!
Great place to walk and learn about the stars. If you want to join their membership your entry fee will be taken off the membership price. You can return at night with day attendance.
Buy a family membership for 60.00. It's well worth it and works at tons of other places in US. You can visit this place several times and learn something new each time.
Incredible site for viewing stars near the city . I’d recommend the constellation tour starting at 8.30pm.
Great staff . Very knowledgeable about the facility and anything space. They have interactive kid shows available. Go during the early evening to enjoy the stuff that does not require darkness.
Amazing! Really informative talks and getting to see the Milky Way and Saturn was incredible
Cool place to look through telescopes in the evening. My favorite was looking at the moon in detail. The presentations/talks could have been better, though.
Make sure to come back after dark to look through the telescopes and learn a ton!
A chance for kids to experience spectacular stargazing. Observe planets through a giant telescope and then go outside where guides will point out constellations and stars visible to the naked eye.
Built in 1894, it is one of the oldest observatories in the US and has led to many important discoveries. In 1930, Clyde Tombaugh identified the solar body Pluto (originally thought to be a planet). Read more

Very educational ! We really enjoyed the Pluto Tour .
Don't pop the bubble wrap on the table legs at the Perkins Telescope. It's there for a reason!
Worth the visit. Interesting exhibits , and it was cool to see the telescope used to identify Pluto.
If the Clark Telescope is open for viewing , check it out. Lowell used to look at Mars through this.
Go at night to see the stars!
Take Advantage: every 1st Wednesday is Flagstaff Night, residents get half price admission after 5pm.
Showed up at 8:15, might not be able to see everything. Show up early! Also, install Google Sky Maps to get things nerdy ASAP! :)
don't get there too early. they don't open to let you view the telescope until 8pm during summer hours.

Ask questions! The staff is very knowledgeable .

Don't go on a holiday weekend. Lots of screaming kids
Don't go!!
Don't show up too late! We got kicked out at 9:30, only had like a half hour to look around!
They had the Clark closed due to wind. Check the weather before you go, and you might have a chance to look through this amazing scope. - Matthew Ballance
Go at night! - When going in, start from the end telescope to the front so you avoid the crowd of people coming in. - Richard Yabut
Such a historical part. Touch the space shuttle tire. - Greg Taggart
Great view of Flagstaff and the surrounding area. - Jeffrey Lansing
The White Chocolate Mocha is by far the best I've ever had. I look forward to getting it every time I'm in Flagstaff! - Kristin T
Try the broccoli cheddar soup and a 1/2 sandwich. Just enough for lunch. The burrito is also yummy. - Penny Miller
Steak was amazing and massive sizes! Shared between two and still full. Beer was also the best my friend said she's had in America so far (Flagstaff IPA) - Lauren Cowie
