Can't say that I've had bad service and I can't rave about great service either. The outdoor patio is semi-enclosed (and heated) so it's a great alternative to sitting inside.

Don't be fooled by the mass of people out front. Its always busy but the line moves very fast. There is just more room inside to eat than wait. Enjoy the great SD weather. The wait is worth it.

On Man v Food, Adam Richman takes on the Broken Yolk Special, a 6-lb. breakfast served on a 15-inch pizza pan - a 12-egg omelet with chili plus a mountain of home fries and 2 biscuits .

Eggs ???? hot eggs try and grab someone to fill your coffee ☕️ that’s too much for me. Can eat else where. Prefer staff that can understand your requests.

Hands down best breakfast I've ever had. China omelet with hashbrowns and a blueberry muffin as your sides and you won't go wrong as if you even could at this establishment.

I had a to go order and waited with a cup of coffee . Took my order and asked me 4 X “this is to go correct” yes, yes, yes ! Reiterate the order 4Xs. To go nope ???????? had to remind ???? coffee refill?

Yes, sometimes they are uber busy and the service may not be stellar, but the food is good like "The California" omlet . Get the fresh squeezed orange juice ....de-lish!

2 Eggs Medium, Corn Beef Hash well done, all pineapple , English muffin dry with a side of peanut butter . Coffee black & OJ .

What's with the not valid loyalty discount on weekends. Doesn't BYC know that the majority of their loyal customers come during the weekends!!

Don't go on the weekends if you can help it, coupons and other discount offers only good M-F =/ Btw, don't order Egg 's Bene, bleck!

Here are some tips for this BYC location:1. Expect less than stellar customer service! 2. If it's your 1st time at BYC don't go to this one, try the on in Pacific Beach . That way the benchmark is set

There is any more Duncan Reynaldo on the menu: it's just another place to eat breakfast now.

Eggs florentine, totally worth it!

I love their chorizo , it comes with jalapenos in it =)

French Toast is fabulous! Ask for warm syrup on the side for extra treat.

Eggs benedict with fruit is a good choice. Don't expect good coffee .

The BLT with Avocado is great! Try it if you like BLT.

California breakfast burrito is incredible

Don't order the chicken fried steak . Was lukewarm at best and everything else on the plate was cold. The other people i was with had great, hot food.

$2.99 menu all day.. awesome lunch

Trying to pay at the register on a busy morning is quite an ordeal.
