Longstanding breakfast spot in Athens. Bring cash, no cards. Have gotten good biscuits in past. Got pancakes & crispy bacon this time.
Pancakes Omelettes & lunches . Opened in1947 family operated.
The don't take cards, cash only . It really wasn't too good, the biscuits were ok, the grits a little too salty, bacon nearly burned etc. but it's cheap and service is quick so I might be going back.
Bacon egg & cheddar on a homemade biscuit with a side of hashbrowns . It doesn't get better than this!
Best breakfast in town and for lunch you can't beat the meat and three for $7.76!
They really took care of me while I was there. They gave me two hairs in my omelette , even though I didn't ask for them. How thoughtful!

Okay so the owner and his wife practice terrible customer service, the food was just average, and beware, they ONLY take cash. Will not be dining with them anymore!
Avoid the bathrooms at all costs!!!

Everything is phenomenal, this is southern breakfast done right. Everything was on point. I recommend the smoked pulled pork and potato hash plate. Beautifully poached eggs too, wow. Affordable. - Kahlúa D
