Prominent Thames side pub on the site of a former friary. Great food served everyday and complimented by good real ales .

Somewhat hidden by the riverside, atmosphere was great. Had a pint outside during a lovely spring afternoon, and will definitely go back.

Best in summers with a great view to river with your drinks and friends.

A big, handsome boozer, The White Cross has large bay windows that offer none-closer views of the river . Crowds flock here in summer to bask on the waterfront with a cooling drink .

Very mixed service - soup order took longer than roasts! But food was delicious, good atmosphere and amazing setting.

Service is phenomenal (consistent in that respect). Clients were very jovial and we became no different. Great for dinner , drinks and pudding .

Fantastic dog friendly riverside pub with out door seating. Good beer selection and tasty food.

River adjacent pub . Very adjacent it turns out at high tide . BYOB means something different here. It stands for Bring Your Own Boat.

great pub , fantastic location right on the river , HUGE sandwiches great for a spot of lunch .

Look for high tide warnings at the front door. And if you get stuck in, they sometimes lend you wellies to get out.

At high tide you can get 'stuck in the pub ' for a good hour or two until the water recedes, unless the guy is out with his row boat. Great excuse to get another round in...

Try the ribs ...perfection! Huge portions ,perfect view of the river but quite expensive !

Fantastic food, decent selection of ales and a great view to boot. Perfect place to chill out on a Sunday evening!
