Water had coating of oil in it. Not sure what I was stepping in when I went in the water as the muck squished between my toes. It definitely wasn't sand! The rocks getting to water hurt!
It's not cute if that's what you are looking for. I wouldn't go in the water. It's just close to home and I can pop in with a chair and chill . Don't expect much....
Low tide, wear sandles in the water.. Sharp rocks. I cut my foot today.. But it's still an awesome to place to swim and totally free!!
Bring bug spray even if ur laying out!!

Mystic pizza doesn't in fact have heavenly slices. They are just ok. But the rest of the downtown area is splendid. View is amazing. Especially liked the ice cream and spice & tea exchange shops. - Julie Battikha
