Great coffee , lovely staff and nice cakes . Only gripe (like a lot of coffeehouses these days) is that it can feel like a noisy crèche sometimes with baby overload.
one of my favourite places to go for a steaming Americano and a huge wedge of cake is coffee #1. There's a happy vibe, tasty drinks & delicious cakes teas .
The seats next to the old fireplace are perfect! You've also got to try the orange juice !

Very friendly place. Good coffee , good porridge and plenty of seating.
An acceptable mocha for my sweet palate. Slight bitterness post sup but manageable. Portuguese custard tarts also sold. Alas no free wifi .
