Attractive pub with many Victorian features. Impeccable quality real ales .

Mark

Cracking lively place with friendly staff . Try the Titanic Plum Porter if its on.

Andy Walker

Best beer quality (not number) in Liverpool. Landlord won't suffer fools nor poor ale . A must go to Liverpool pub .

Eric Fish

In addition to my first comment I would point out that the proud graduate who only wanted to buy a pint gave great reviews to McDonald's. Enough said.

Nick Jones

Great bar staff , good range of beers and lagers . Real Liverpool pub .

Jordi Roura

Staff is very friendly , amazing ales . This is my sanctuary.

Malc Anderson

Try Liverpool camra's pub of the year 2010 & 2011, I found barman & atmosphere friendly and will be visiting again.

Kari

Not the widest selection in town but certainly best kept ale . Always busy.

Chris Malarky

Great beer and amazingly friendly , helpful staff . Totally recommended!

Eric Fish

Extremely friendly pub despite what the moaners say. Don't bring your own food. It's a business, not a shelter for sippers who want Sky for free. Not suffering fools gladly is not 'unfriendly'. Rec.

Paul Handley

Good pub lousy bogs bring ur own bog roll

Tim

No food but good beer .

Daniel Ruxton

VERY rude bar staff , threatened to throw me and my mates out if we bought 1 pint for the duration of the match as soon as we walked in! Terrible customer service.

John Bowen

Don't ask for tap water unless you want to be shown the door and don't even contemplate eating anything not bought in the pub .

Chris Jewell

Rude staff , asked to leave as a friend was driving, not drinking.
