Great bookstore chain. They all have Te Og Kaffi places inside so you can sit down and have a great coffee/tea drink. Free wifi and fun books/magazines to browse.

Very nice big bookstore with a great collection of books in the English language! Have a seat at the Te & Kaffi cafe inside!

Te & kaffi inside Eymundsson bookstore , same as #4. Great location, great veranda on sunny days and a great street side bar-style tables on rainy days.

Rune K. J.

Café on the top floor with a nice, large porch where you can enjoy your coffee in the sun + free wifi ;-)

Jenny K

Feels like your average Barnes and Noble style bookshop . Lots of booms, magazines , toys , gifts and a cafe , too.

Trond Enger

Best bookstore in Reykjavik. Nice cafe on the third floor.

Erick Kjellevold

Funny concept, but they have a big selection of great books . I guess it's nice to have a café in a bookshop since you can read magazines for free.

Rupert Roberts

Peaceful . Bring up to 3 magazines upstairs to read with your coffee ☕️ 📖

Respect! Check out the mural on 2nd floor of our founder and entrepreneur Sigfus Eymundsson who began his start-up of selling books in 1872. Yes 1872.

The coffee shop stays open later than most in town 2200 on Friday night.

Julie

Perfect place to pick up an icelandic novel (translated in English) to read during your holidays!

Buy the Dreamland book to get a clear view on Icelanders and how they see their nature

Manuel Loustaunau

A little bit pricey , but it's a tourist place, what can you expect?

Taktu kaffibollann með í setustofuna á efstu hæðinni / Enjoy your coffee at the top floor

Stefán Vignir Skarphéðinsson

The coffee here is great, service is great, but the free WiFi tends to be shittier than an average sewage system.

Gudmundur Karason

Prófaðu Spari Naanwich með guacamole . Himneskt!

Petur Kristinsson

Avoid sitting in the sun, the place is like a greenhouse when the sun is shining.

Lilja Scheel Birgisdóttir
