Life is good. Two days in a row trying micro brew samplers. BCB has a great happy hour deal . 6 glasses in the sampler for 65 rmb... And all are most excellent!

One of Time Out's favourite Shanghai microbreweries , this cosy three storey lane house-style bar serves a great selection of ales and food (including one of the city 's best burgers ).

Great place for burgers n beers or Sunday brunch . And right next to another huge beer bar if you are hopping around.

Great selection of beer . Decent sports on TV and warm evenings you can watch on a screen outside. Never blown away by the food (unless the beers have blown me away).

Pours here are huge. Photo is the sampler and a regular glass is 0.5L!

Foods pretty good - tried my friends gumbo and its definitely one to skip but my salmon salad was really nice! They have a good selection of beers too!!

Definitely go for the sampler- it’s quite large.. and it’s 50RMB for half a liter of beer .

Get in for the happy hour between 5-8pm. Try the Carolina burger or the gumbo , the food here is incredible!

The beers are good, not great, but there's a cozy courtyard and the service is unusually attentive for this kind of place.

Meatloaf was absolutely delicious but the chicken pie had a very strong sweet taste we reckon it was the pastry

Quality of food and services have gone down recently. They also need to bring back the Eggs Benedict for brunch .

BCB burger , got my meat over cooked, the bread cold. Everything dry and untasty. My french fries taste like the fish and chips of my friend. Probably the same oil. Go there only for beers .

Meatloaf is sooo good! Don't bother with the gumbo , however.
