Nice enchanted walk, buy fish food at their gift shop and be prepared to be followed! Kids (2&3 yr old) enjoyed this so much. Remove shoes before heading inside the temple and light an incense.
Hidden in the Valley of the Temples , this is a replica from Japan . This is a great place to just hang out and relax, maybe eat your packed lunch before heading back out to the beaches .
Well worth the $3. Even if you've been before, the light here always changes the character of the grounds and a repeat visit is never a waste of time.
$3 to get in. Nice, peaceful little area to check out, but won't take more than 30 minutes to see everything.
Such a serene spot. I could go here in a nice quiet day and just relax. A lot of tourist today but it was still peaceful .
Beautiful, serene location! Make sure you ring the bell and clear your mind before you enter.
Arrive early in the morning to avoid crowds and bring bug spray. Above all else please be respectful and teach that to your children as well
This temple is a replica of a 900-year-old Buddhist place of worship at Uji in Kyoto prefecture of Japan .
Beautiful amazing architecture ... Great place to clear your head. Calming , beautiful grounds and loved the gift shop .
One of the most beautiful places we've ever visited! Take some quiet time to absorb the beauty and tranquility around you....and don't forget to ring the bell. :-)
Beautiful temple . Very worth stopping, it was only $3.
Serene place to visit. Ring the bell, feed the birds and appreciate the beauty :)
I agree with the others on the $1 bag of bird/fish food. Feeding the doves out of your hand is a lot of fun! The bag of food is generous and will last a while
Beautiful Japanese temple . Loved this, feels like Japan for a minute.
This was an awesome experience, even in the rain. Beautiful and serene.
It's located inside a cemetery , but it's really cool to see
Amazing!!! Such a beautiful place. Must see!
Beautifully peaceful . Take off shoes when entering the temple .
Beautiful but need renovation
Nice retreat from the noise of Honolulu...

Interesting place, gives you a sense of calm
Such a beautiful replica !
Beautiful and tranquil .
Peaceful . Ring the bell and clear your mind.
Beautiful place to visit and ponder life, love, and happiness.
I agree with everyone else, spend $1 to feed the fish and birds , it's a lot of fun. The birds will eat right from your hand if you let them.
The temple is located behind the cemetaries, in the Valley of the Temples . There may be some mosquitoes here.
A hidden gem , but a beautiful place to visit and to reflect.
Beautiful. Tourist are a bit annoying.
Make a donation in the store and at the statue after feeding the koi and birds.
My wife was taken away with the experience.
Place to relax
Just $1.00 for a big bag of fish and bird food. Guaranteed fun and excitement when the fish jump for their food.

Lugar alucinante, um pouco longe de North Shore, mas vale a pena.
On se croirait vraiment au Japon alors que nous n’avons pas quitté le territoire américain. Dépaysement total.
