Takesushi has extremely pleasant and warm service ! Servers were always quick to refill my tea and the sushi chef finessed the 10 pieces of sushi artfully . Definitely coming back.

Most of the fish is flown in from Japan and is high quality. The grilled cod which my bf and I shared was life changing. This is a homey , authentic Japanese restaurant and not fancy but so good!

Bryant Balatbat

A little pricey for the neighborhood but you get quality in return. The chirashi is beautifully presented. Comes with uni. Get anything with uni.

Some say owner/chef Robin Kawada opened the 1st sushi restaurant in Manhattan in 1975! In addition to this Queens outpost, Kawada owns a 15-seater in Japan . Too legit to quit.
