A great market in an area that is lacking in solid grocery stores . They have a huge selection, great fresh foods (especially produce!) and excellent prepared food. Love the BBQ brisket sandwich .
This 3 level emporium boasts a sushi bar , pizza cafe , bakery and beer hall, (though having that beer purchase on premise is verboten). It can get crowded . Check out the upper level for a lunch escape.
This Brooklyn-born establishment now has a branch firmly rooted in South Harlem. Grab all of your organic groceries here; there's even a sushi bar upstairs aptly named SuHa. They also deliver .
Eggs are $1.99 a dozen. Chicken breasts are $1.99/lb. Sweet Potatoes are $0.79/lb. Need I say more. Great value for money at this grocery store ! The produce is fresh and the prices are low.
Literally the best yet! They ran out of the salmon that was on sale so I picked up the stuffed one and a salmon and feta burger ... the best decision I've made all day!
They have great products sometimes the line is super long.
If I ever go for a "quick run" to the market and don't come back for a while, I can probably be found in the upstairs beer section. That place is dangerous!
Check the weekly special online for great deals on seafood and produce. It's the only place I confidently buy produce in Harlem. The seafood guys are really nice too!
Neighborhood grocery that’s easy to pick up items. Sometimes they have sales.
Try the brisket ! And beer lovers - there are so many options upstairs. Great fish and produce sections downstairs.
The World Famous 88Keys who did the sick Viagra (Stay Up) w/the All Night Loving sample with Kanye West frequents this establishment, maybe you might run into him sometime, Stay Up!
Best selection of beer in all of Manhattan. You could literally try a new beer a day for almost a year, if not longer. They had me at hello...
Great market ! But the cashiers clearly don't know how to work fast. Not to mention you have 5 employees standing around talking at the registers, but no one helping check more people out!
Best grocery store in Harlem...hands down! Cafe w/free wifi upstairs ...hot food bar ...everythings fresh and clean...and they give u these amazing reusable bags when u make a purchase! Love it
Love this place. It's the perfect middleground from your average supermarket to the whole foods
Good prices and selection on food. Sales run Friday-Thursday. Check their website every Thursday for a preview of the coming week's sales.
The lobster bisque soup is amazing for $3.99, a smalk size (which is actually pretty big) comes with real chunks of lobster . Omg to die for.
Good buys and great food. Best spot in Harlem for Kumbucha!
As I always say "Best Yet is the best yet!" I love to go here wiuth my kids and get them a smoothie from upstairs! They also have Kosher Marshmalllows!! YES!!!
The cashiers are often surly but still the best option in this neighborhood . Just don't trust the helpful employee directing you to check out at the bakery (for faster service). Never works! Ever!
Confusing to navigate w/ the nooks and crannies but love the prices, selection and community feel. Also saw Rep Charles Rangel doing some shopping too -- he must be saving his pennies, too!
great groceries in the area. fresh and reliable with beer and ready made food too.
Great grocery option in the area with quite a bit of variety. Checkout may be a bit slow, so give yourself time.
If you have five items or less, you can checkout at the Bakery in the front.
The prepackaged salads are pretty good... esp like the one with lots of spinach , cranberries , walnuts and blue cheese
Best time to go is in the morning to beat the crowds
Go upstairs and look at the craft beer selection . Or take a growler home.
Don't live in the area. I'm a vendor for them. The pizza smells really good. May try one day.
Avoid peak times as the lines get crazy, though you can usually go upstairs with 10 items or less.
Good market in the neighborhood . Fresh and clean .
Very impressed. The fruit salad is fresh, great selection of nuts , love this spot.
Don't buy produce from here. It's moldy. Otherwise, lots of selections at good prices
I agree with the stocking. They were out of DIET COKE ! Try the deli or the rotisserie chicken for those nights you don't have time to cook. Closer than Fairway but not better. But still needed!
Somehow the express line oftentimes ends up taking longer than the non-express line .
Somehow the express lane always moves slower than the non-express lane.
This place started out great, but it's going downhill fast. They never have enough cashiers so you wait in line FOREVER. What happened? Gonna have to go back to C Town for every day stuff.
Get the rotisserie chicken with an order of mac and cheese . It is off the chain
Wow, the new best market has the best 2nd floor kick it area for meetings. It'll be this way until everyone finds out about it..
Love this place. It is like a mini whole foods or trader joes. Shop there all the time for pretty much everything. Read more
Best craft beer selection ...anywhere. I miss the deli kiosks though and the checkout lines are getting slower.
They really fixed the issue with having too few cashiers . The lines are much shorter now. Thanks!
Best Beer selection I have ever seen in this city !
The cheese selection here is very good. Probably the only spot Uptown where you can find aged cheese .
Some of the best prices in Harlem!
Always get in the 10 items or more line . It moves much faster than the 10 items or less.
Please play music in the store. If I have to listen to horrible talk radio where every other word is bleeped out and idiotic in nature I'll go back to C-town. I'd take elevator music instead of that.
Amazing prices - never shop on broadway or Amsterdam near Columbia this higher quality and cheaper
I like it here a lot, but it no Whole Foods ...
Best BBQ in Harlem. Period
Huge Cookies in the bakery for $1.79. My fav is the Chocolate Drop
Nice and simple supermarket in the area. All your basics and then some more. - Andrew Leung
Good selection, prices, and, most importantly, it is open 24/7 - Max Zhiltsov
Awesome Staff and a very chill environment. Also, Elisa is super cute. - Sean Cameron
The cookies are huge! They’re always warm & gooey. Get the classic chocolate chip cookies. - Kimmie Ohh
their wine tastings on Fridays are very nice and enjoyable. - Prettyface Princess
