Cool new hotel in Laguna Beach, steeped in history. Reopened just a few months ago. Definitely worth a visit. The restaurant , Larsen looks good. Great views or the beach .
Check out the artwork in the back of the lobby. There are pictures of Laguna Beach in a timeline from the 1800s to present day. Interesting history, especially the photos from the Great Depression.
go to the terrace cafe on the beach . patio is first come first serve. gorgeous Sunset . get the Chinese chicken salad and a pomegranate martini . ;)
The clarified rum punch is one of the best cocktails I’ve had in a long, long time.

Overpriced, run down and in need of soundproofed rooms. Like you are sleeping outside. My niece got locked in the bathroom for 15-20 minutes and had to have door kicked in to get out. Showers suck.
The water is five bucks but great view
