English Bay Beach

Love walking to English Bay , grabbing some take out and eating it while the sunsets:-) Its a great spot to people watch and take in the beauty of our city . We are blessed! Aren't we???

What us there to say about the bay ? Well ...people comes to mind. If you want to have a chat this is the best place in Vancouver. Plus the most stunning view of the ocean. Wanna play tennis and birds!

I love coming to the beach here. It’s beautiful. Summer, winter. Sunshine, rain or fog. You can’t go wrong visiting this beach .

Best spot for fireworks in the summer. I would recommend the walk down Denman on your way down on a sunny day. Lots of great food and cafes .

I live a block away and literally chill at the other beach every evening. Grab a blanket, a book and pick your favourite tree to lie under. The ocean will relax you completely!

It's a shame they have a lot of rules. You can barely enjoy being there. The only thing that make it worth is the sunset and the great atmosphere people bring you there.

This is my favorite neighborhood spot for happy hour . Great staff and groovy music .

English Bay keeps getting better and better. A little more crowded in 2011, as compared to the 1930's, but still one of thee best places to relax and sun.

Beautiful place to watch fireworks during the Celebration of Lights . The logging makes perfect seating.

Best to do bike ride from coal harbour then Stanley Park then English bay beach then keep going to Granville island (cross water by river bus )

Amazing area but too bad putting in cactus club where there should be ice cream vendors for beach goers. Who eats a sit down meal at a beach . My 2 cents. Support Vancouver parks not corporate power!

Home of the original 'cupcake ' store. Forget Starbucks and head to Delaney's on Denman - 1 block away from Davie. Walk toward 2nd beach and visit the Fish House for a fancy feast.

If you want to eat anywhere around English Bay , come early! These joints with a view fill up fast after 5:00!

Great place to stop for a drink after cycling round Stanley Park , especially if you don't want to pay park kiosk prices.

Easily the best beach in the city . Long enough that you can usually find space on a hot day. Go down the slide !

Get your food at Cactus Club take out and enjoy it on the beach .

Watching the fireworks ? Go across Beach Ave and stand on the "Beach Towers" patio ! A perfect view and no crowds! Just behave yourselves and don't litter... people live here!

Beach of downtown, always an awesome place to be anytime of the day.
